Illinois Heritage Grant Program-***NOT CURRENTLY FUNDED***

This program is managed by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency with the intent to assist in the preservation and treatment of designated individual landmarks throughout the State by offering grants in amounts up to 60% of total project costs, not to exceed $50,000.

Tourism Matching Grant Program

Funding for this program comes from the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and provides grant assistance to counties, municipalities, and local not-for-profit organizations to promote local tourist attractions and events in order to increase hotel/motel occupancy and travel into and throughout Illinois. 

Tourism Attraction Development Grant Program (TAP)

This program is administered by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity with the purpose of providing financial assistance in the form of grants to counties, municipalities, local promotional groups or for-profit businesses for the development or improvement of tourism attractions in Illinois.
