Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG)

The JAG program, administered by the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, was designed to streamline justice funding and grant administration. The program blends funding for Edward Byrne Memorial State and Local Law Enforcement Assistance (also known as ADAA) and Local Law Enforcement Block Grant (LLEBG) programs to provide agencies with the flexibility to prioritize and place justice funds where they are needed most.

Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program

This program is administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's U.S. Department of Homeland Security offers one-year grants directly to fire departments for personal protective equipment, training, wellness and fitness programs, and firefighting equipment (including vehicles).
